Received Merit in MSc Clean Technology at University of Newcastle upon Tyne. Modules include:

4 months industrial placement at Aesica Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Work focused on energy cost saving within production plant.

BEng Honours in Chemical Engineering at UMIST. Achieved 2:2 classification.

International School of Singapore.

2001: 3 A-levels: Chemistry (B), Physics (C) and Mathematics (C).

Work Experience:

Four months industrial placement at Aesica Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

Identify cost saving opportunities within manufacturing process, aimed to reduce energy consumptions. Projects included designing a pumped recycle loop for hot utility recirculation; solvent incineration for steam generation; and assessing the size and duty of existing pumps and compressors to identify opportunities for energy reduction.

Total saving of the projects estimated at £471,000 per year.

2004

IssueBits Limited, London. Worked as part-time Researcher.

The role of researcher includes using various information sources, including the internet, to provide answers for a question and answer service for mobile phone users. Problem solving technique was needed.

2001

Worked as a personal tutor in summer, teaching mathematics to 13-15 years old students.

Teaching my students allowed me to develop my presentation skills.

2000

I was an active committee member in student council. Involve in fund rising and other school activities.

It was a large responsibility to organise school events.

1994-1998

I was a volunteer social worker. I organised summer activities for children such as fun fair and camping. I also participated in charity work and fund rising.

Worked in a group of 10 people, which gave me opportunity to develop my team working skills.

Hobbies and Activities:

I am interested in a wide range of sports, swimming, tennis, skating, etc. And most of all, badminton.
