• Experienced welder of carbon steel [MMA, MIG and fluxcored], stainless steel [MMA and MIG ], aluminium [MIG] and dissimilar metals [MMA and MIG]
• Experienced in reading, understanding and working to engineering and civil engineering drawings, the use of various hand tools and machines e.g. grinders pistol drills, magnetic drills, pedestal and radial arm drills, plate rollers, angle rollers, guillotines, press brakes both manual and CNC, also profile, pug and hand gas cutting with oxy- acetylene and oxy-propane.

Producing fabrication, General Arrangements, drawings for planning applications and drawings for Building Control regarding building warrants for Scotland. Supervising of other detailers and ensuring drawings are correct prior to fabrication and ordering of materials. Use Master Series to design portal frame buildings and main connections.
Communicating with customers over the phone to ensure the buildings are correct to what they actually want. Site visits to take details such as levels.
Using Microsoft word to produce letters and faxes.
Using Microsoft Excel to produce material and cut lists.
