Managed initiation of 3G IP based Picocell RAN delivery programme
Achievements: Initiated programme, recruited staff and delivered the first prototype four channel 3G radio access network to a US based Tier 1 mobile telecomms provider for lab trials.

Interim Program Office Manager for the Telephony Appliances Division
Established a program management function, providing staffing, active management and information on project performance of the whole telephony programme, involving development of IP telephony hardware and communications software.

Developed programme processes for project planning & tracking, quality assurance, change management, risk & issue resolution and reporting.

To support the portfolio planning process, I developed a scenario modelling tool which enabled Product Management to evaluate candidate products against agreed selection criteria and optimise release schedules by comparing revenues and benefits with available resources.

Achievements included action on failing projects and optimised the 3 programmes, through facilitation of road-mapping workshops and monthly product management reviews.
Technical due diligence on acquisition of Tenovis in Germany, now part of Avaya.

Led various IT and process improvement projects enabling improvements in theatre utilisation and outpatients waiting times.
Re-engineered operational processes and data collection across 5 departments, managed introduction of IT systems to reduce patient information loss and treatment delays

Led teams responsible for deliverying the Duality "Always On" push email software for mobile devices.
Delivered 3 cycles of software development using the Scrum version of the Agile methodology.

Recruited staff and strategic partners for CRM solution portfolio, including consultancies, applications and platform providers. Managed EMEA market development programme.
