Working within the Projects team of this legal practice, responsible for full project life cycle management from initial business case, project definition, project initiation and stakeholder management through to completion and sign off. Included use of MS Project 2003 and Visio 2003.

Key Project: Implementation of Interwoven Document Management System & iBillback Expense Management System to 700 users across four sites in the UK.

Achievements: Delivered Interwoven implementation and classification and transfer of 3 million documents on time and under budget (£1 Million) requiring deft co-ordination and management of internal resource, external consultants and third party providers.

Responsibilities: Overall end to end project responsibility for the delivery of the application and the associated business processes. Responsible for the project team in requirements gathering, testing, planning and implementation over the firm’s four sites. Matrix management of developers and third party technical and support consultants, development phase, testing, UAT and roll out. Executed and managed change over.

Project: Firm wide implementation of CISCO Call Manager utilising VOIP over four sites replacing distributed Toshiba PBX as part of the firms move to a converged solution and utilising PoE.

Achievements: Delivered on time and to budget. Calls routed internally and renegotiation of carrier providers resulting in significant reduction in telephony cost.

Responsibilities: Overall end to end project responsibility for stakeholder management; goal setting, agreement of deliverables and management of stakeholder expectations. Managing product delivery from various 3rd party suppliers. Coordinating UAT and regression testing and conducting functional requirement reviews. Direct responsibility for producing continuity planning documentation in respect of the VOIP system.

Project: 60 Seat Debt Recovery Call Centre. Setting up a call centre structure with functional work groups utilising intelligent voice routing and queues.

Achievements: A significant reduction in miss routed and dropped calls. A 20% increase in the amount of work processed and reduction in errors made and the automation of simple tasks.

Responsibilities: Responsible for the project team in requirements gathering; via process stapling, stakeholder interviews and workshops with a view to producing business specifications and call flow process.

Project: Review of applications and services and implementation of Single Sign On in Windows environment. Review of current hardware estate and pc builds, leading to roll out of 600+ HP pc’s across the four offices.

Achievements: Drastically reduced log on times and application lock outs.
Responsibilities: Overall end to end project responsibility for data collection, agreement of deliverables and management of stakeholder expectations.

Key Project: Implementation of CRiS and PAS in Radiology. Day to day responsibility for managing full project life cycle from receiving the mandate reviewing the business case and defining project objectives with key stakeholders.

Achievements: Project implemented without downtime to patients. Successfully managing 3rd party engineers and support staff.

Responsibilities: Planning all aspects, utilising MS Project2003 and Visio2003, requirements gathering, creating and updating the PID, issuing work packages and authorising work to be done and controlling the project using issue and risk logs. Projects undertaken as part of the trust commitment to NPfiT.

Project: Upgrade of hardware estate / LAN upgrade of 2000 PC’s estate and upgrade of operating system from 95/2000 to XP (Upgrading desktop pc’s from P2 to 64bit).

Achievements: Users able to sign on faster with greater working speed. Installation of HP Pro Curve routers and re-cabling enhanced network speeds and eradicated bottlenecks.

Responsibilities: Overall end to end project responsibility for stakeholder management; goal setting, agreement of deliverables and management of stakeholder expectations. Also responsible for the co-ordination of installation team activities.

Achievements: Successfully managed project in conditions of close secrecy requiring delicate stakeholder management and high levels of confidentiality.

Responsibilities : Responsible for a team of 16, including 12 Indian trainers and Team Leaders, Subject Matter Experts and Project Support. Reviewing process and procedures with the SME to document, refine or replace and then reproducing these in India.


Project: Purchase of CRM & DMS for company wide use.

Key achievements: Provided technical consultation to the group responsible for the sourcing of a new knowledge / document management and CRM systems for One.Tel. (RFP)
