Within my role I was also part of the business development group which produced retail solutions for organisations as diverse as Centrica and News International.
I headed a division that was structured to take advantage of outsourcing a significant proportion of the development and systems procurement. As such co-ordination of effort from external suppliers was required to provide satisfactory solutions. At the core of this approach was the use of PRINCE as the project management method.

• Planned, directed and managed the development of a web-enabled architecture which supported the customer management process for 400 users across 18 international sites.
