I am a highly qualified and experienced Technical Communicator with hands-on experience in most aspects of technical documentation. I have worked on a wide spectrum of products within a wide range of industries as a Technical Writer, Technical Illustrator, Graphic Designed, Desktop Publisher, Adult Education Tutor, Specialist Printer and Technical Publications Project Manager. I can provide high level solutions to resolve communication problems. I am able to competently manage technical documentation and communication projects embracing all stages from the initial client briefing to completion.




Responsibilities

Varied responsibilities on the Air Navigation System Support programme, Draft electronic and mechanical illustrations for technical training and operator's manuals using manual techniques and AutoCAD programmes. Prepare wall displays, design business stationary and co-ordinate the in-house printing of multicolour projects. Develop and control forms and engineering drawings. Schedule and resource multiple projects, supervise staff and produce on-the-job training for foreign nationals.

Achievements

Projects completed included: a cabling manual for Taif air traffic control tower; the layout and all artwork for an airport operations manual; the design, layout and camera-ready artwork for bilingual brochures; and the graphical documentation of a complex logistics system. Also completed a directors' presentation for Crown Prince Sultan in the form of coloured OHP slides and illustrated reports.
