· This involved working in the TMU section at the Ruislip depot on the central line doing mods at night. The mods that I did in this time included; cab push buttons, speedprobe upgrades, sole bar, fitting new air vents, replacing the lights above the doors with LED's and disconnecting cooling fans.

· Electrical and mechanical building maintenance at a no. of sites in London. This involves doing planned and breakdown maintenance on everything from the chillers, boilers, motors and pumps right through to changing light bulbs, taps and door handles etc.

HITACHICONSTRUCTION MACHINERY

· Electrical and mechanical maintenance at various pits throughout the Hunter Valley area. Activities included: breakdown diagnosis & repair and servicing & general maintenance of Letourneau L1800, L1400, L1100 and L1000 Letro loaders; Euclid EH4500 Siemens AC electric drive trucks; Euclid R190 GE Statex III electric drive trucks; Euclid R90 mechanical drive tippers and water trucks; and, Hitachi EX5500, EX3600, EX 3500, EX 2500, EX 1800, EX1200 hydraulic excavators.

• In Feburary 2002 I done work experience with Dowding and Mills, dismantling and rebuilding all types of electric motors as part of my apprenticeship.
• In January 2003 I became the Field Service Electrician for Hitachi in the Hunter Valley, which involved being on call 24 hrs a day 7 days a week for all our machinery.
• In August 2003 I was released 6 months early out of my apprenticeship due to my competence and the hours and effort I had put in throughout my apprenticeship.
• In January 2004 I was asked to go to Tom Price W.A. for 3 months to raise the availability of a Hitachi EH4500 A.C. drive haul truck, as well as maintain a new fleet of Hitachi Excavators
• I have also carried out shift relief for Bengalla Mine Electricians. Which included break down maintenance on their machinery which consisted of 5 Euclid EH 4500 Siemens AC electric drive trucks, 4 Euclid R190 GE Statex III electric drive trucks, 3 Euclid R90 mechanical drive water carts, 1 Letourneau L1800 Letro loader, 1 Letourneau L1100 Letro loader, 1 Hitachi Ex 3500 excavator and 1 Hitachi Ex 3600 excavator. As well as a range of Caterpillar and Volvo machinery, a P&H Dragline, pit pumps and lighting sets.
