· Working within the Global equipment group responsible for planning and scheduling equipment maintenance for all equipment onshore and offshore. Scheduling and re-scheduling of the maintenance plan to suite project requirements.
· Global SAP PM lead to all regions and local Key users . Liaise between the Global PEN (process expert network) to find solutions to problems and ensure common functionality to the use of SAP PM module on a global basis.
· Deploy and maintain SAP MAM mobile software to Subsea 7 vessels to maintain SAP functionality and reporting on unconnected or limited connect ability work sites.

· Started Subsea 7 Global SAP deployment as Deployment lead for the PM module.
· Continue with maintenance planner responsibilities to the equipment group, although was on a reduce work load.
· Visiting all Subsea 7 business locations with SAP deployment team to begin the kick off meetings with senior management. Countries deployed were Brazil, Singapore, Gulf of Mexico, and Norway.
· Training of elected personnel in each location in basic PM functionality to create local deployment team.
· Cradle to grave SAP deployment of each country, guiding the previously trained PM deployment team in data gathering, data clean up from legacy systems, Gap analysis to identify the processes previously used but could no longer be fulfilled by SAP. Creating solutions and a work around for each critical process that could not be changed. Data build out of plants, work centres locations to suite company structure. Identifying and addressing solutions generated by local government laws and legislation. Finding solutions.
· Meet with senior management for regular updates on deployment progress to insure keeping in line with the aggressive deployment schedule. Getting issues highlighted and addressed.
· This process was carried out for each location on an extremely aggressive time line. This involved a lot of travelling between each country. So much so we had Brazil and Singapore go live on the same date.
· After each location go live I had to continually monitor work progress and have daily conference calls with each location until management were 100% satisfied with the deployment and had signed off.
Jan 2002 - Sept 2002 (Halliburton Subsea and DSND merge to become Subsea 7)

· Because of Norwegian Legislation and tax issues a completely SAP deployment had to be undertaken for the DSND part of the company.
· Build out of new company codes, plants, work centres and locations to mirror data already held in Halliburton Subsea.

· Train DSND personnel in to different levels SAP PM functionality depending on job capsule.

· Halliburton announce SAP 4.6 upgrade.
· Travel to Halliburton Headquarters in Houston as part of the new 4.6 environment test team.
· Carry out Gap analysis and finding solutions to the problems created by the 4.6 upgrade.

· Received training on the use of Interwise software for the delivery of the training materials on a global basis via the internet.
· Travel to various locations to carry out refresher training when ever required.

· Was approached by Halliburton Subsea Global equipment manager to join his team in Halliburton Subsea as senior maintenance planner.
· Plan, control and monitor the maintenance order system.
· Ensure the equipment group equipment and maintenance plans in place were sufficient to meet legislation and keep the equipment in good working order.
· Responsible for monitor maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability by examining equipment breakdown/failures.
· Ensure continual improvement of the equipment maintenance schedule.
· Support onshore and offshore work sites, supplying the required information to enable them to carry out maintenance task and critical decision making.
· Write new company process in regard to the use of SAP.
· Ensure proper continuity between the business management system and SAP.
· Creating new training materials to suit Halliburton Subsea business. Tailor the training packages to the job capsules.
· Training to new personnel and refresher training to existing personnel on a global basis, to ensure common functionality and best business practice through the company.
· The parent company Halliburton introduced "SAP Process Expert Network" (PEN). The PEN network would be made up of individuals from each location who had a more than average grasp of SAP within their own module. The local PEN would report to a Geographical PEN.
· Was elected as Geographical PEN in charge of Europe & Africa regions to provide knowledge transfer to the end user. I would hold weekly meetings with the local PEN under my region to share best practises, problems encountered, corrective actions taken. All Geographical PENS would meet monthly to keep everyone up to date on global issues and to ensure that the 100000 Halliburton end users were all using SAP in the same unified manner.

· A team of SAP experts within Halliburton, one from each SAP module were selected to create the Production Support team.
· I was elected as the expert from the PM module.
· Support the PM community on a global basis after SAP go live.

· Travelled to Houston for 4 weeks intensive SAP training within the PM module.
· Completed training and returned to the UK as part of the Halliburton SAP deployment team.
