CAREER HISTORY
Jan 2007 to April 2007 Facilities/Engineering Manager. (Hands on)
MediaTech Direct, Rugby.
Due to company restructure I am currently on Garden Leave from this position.
Key Role:
· Facility Management of 35,000 sq ft Direct mail site, including equipment and building maintenance schedules. Negotiation of external service contracts.
· Supervision of 2 on site engineers.
· Machine setting and problem solving.
· Staff training, including Health & Safety Inductions and machine operator training.
Technical support and implementation of new processes such as OCR/Barcode recognition
2004-2007 Facilities/Maintenance Manager/ISO Implementation (25% hands on)

Key role:
· Facility Management of 40,000 sq ft Direct mail site, including equipment and building maintenance schedules. Negotiation of external service contracts.
· Supervision of 3 on site engineers.
· Staff training, including Health & Safety Inductions and machine operator training.
· Technical support and implementation of new processes such as OCR/Barcode recognition.
· Out of hours callout.
· Responsible for implementing Quality Controls, complaints procedures and continual improvement at four Print and Direct Mail sites.
· Implementation and management of ISO9001, FSC, PEFC and APACS.
· Research and set-up paper friction test program to TAPPI T 549 pm-90 and ATSM D1894 standards for the Royal Bank of Scotland, report findings at supplier forums.
· Internal auditing, continual improvement, supplier assessment and management of procedures.
