Self employed equipment support consultant engineer. Contracts to date have included the provision of Integrated Logistic Support advice and deliverables for a fully described, costed and assured Value for Money Benchmark aircraft support solution to the MoD. Other work packages included the development, application and monitoring of technical information and data review processes. Previous contracts included - the change management of a food processing plants production process upgrade from manual to semi automated with the introduction of a management software system; planning and development of business processes and statements of work for IT programmes and a number of IT installation and upgrade projects within Government Agencies and high street Banks.

Concurrent assignments included a major tri-service Land project responsible for initial acceptance phase Logistics Support Analysis and detailed planning for the future procurement phases. Other assignments included provision of consultancy support to an international defence supplier for a bid into the Home Office; and project management of Whole Life Costing work packages.

Defence Procurement Agency – Attack Helicopter Project
Engineering manager with the responsibility for scrutiny and acceptance of Integrated Logistic Support technical information, data and software deliverables as part of a major rotary wing weapon system project team. As such, made effective use of previous commercial and contractual experience to represent the Ministry of Defence in negotiations with Industry. Thrived on challenges and the opportunity to demonstrate effective problem solving abilities. Meticulous recording of audit trails and process mapping successfully resulted in the final products compliance with appropriate defence aviation specifications and standards.

As a team leader providing advice on the application of Integrated Logistic Support including Reliability, Maintainability and Testability of defence equipment to the MoD and Industry. During this period managed a multi-disciplinary team of military and civilian logistic engineers and technicians working in both Ministry of Defence and Prime Contractor Sites reviewing ILS deliverables, reporting and briefing findings to the IPT and Industry.
