Self employed equipment support consultant engineer. Contracts to date have included the provision of Integrated Logistic Support advice and deliverables for a fully described, costed and assured Value for Money Benchmark aircraft support solution to the MoD. Other work packages included the development, application and monitoring of technical information and data review processes. Previous contracts included - the change management of a food processing plants production process upgrade from manual to semi automated with the introduction of a management software system; planning and development of business processes and statements of work for IT programmes and a number of IT installation and upgrade projects within Government Agencies and high street Banks.

Concurrent assignments included a major tri-service Land project responsible for initial acceptance phase Logistics Support Analysis and detailed planning for the future procurement phases. KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

• Development of key elements of a Value for Money Benchmarking support solution for a major rotary wing Defence project. This included the delivery of the following plans - Concept of Support, Service Delivery, Surge, Obsolescence, Information Systems, Software Support, Technical Publications and Continuous Improvement.
• Successful development, delivery and customer acceptance of ILS deliverables for Main Gate submission on a major tri-service Land project on behalf of a major international defence company. This included a customer friendly logistic support analysis data presentation.
• Ensured successful acceptance and delivery of Apache AH Mk1 electronic publication, including introduction to Service of the Apache AH Mk1 IETP.
• Developed computerised review processes and applications for technical information and data deliveries. Reduced delivery review from 600 man days to 10 man days with 8 deliveries per year.
• Management responsibility of 60 personnel, 40 vehicles, 9 aircraft component repair workshops and aircraft major servicing facilities for two years and their relocation back to UK.
• Designed, developed and implemented an automated publications fault reporting system. This cut fault processing elapsed time from 2 years to 140 days.
• Introduced a product functional design document cross mapping matrix and documented the acceptance and migration between two technical publications software design solutions.
• Produced and delivered lessons learnt briefs to Logistic Data Managers of future ILS procurement teams.
