Advocating and promoting of Scrum method in the company – thanks to my efforts the project was able to stay focused and deliver functionality
Partially managing Scrum process, keeping team focused on goals and streamlining development – thanks to my efforts communication between members of the team was improved, and the work was much better synchronised
Key architect role – guiding the design of system architecture for the whole system
Conducting code review and Sprint start-up meetings
Reviewing and making suggestions to Product Owner on general solution, business and use cases

Project: Squeeze – Software Engineer
Mobile advertising solution for network operators (in tests at Simyo, TDC, Vodafone DE)
Activities and responsibilities:
Initially advising introduction of iterative process into organisation
Making overall review and redesign of system architecture of J2EE application, advising and guiding implementation of caching and clustering – thanks to this database load was lowered nearly 1000 times and system was able to support a couple 100 times more users
Advising on unifying task management tools used in the company
Introducing usage of common internal repository of artefacts for application builds

Project: PROMAK+ - Project Manager, Solutions & Technical Architect
Enterprise size 3-tier SOA J2EE system for blue chip stockbroker companies (PKO BP, DI BRE)
Activities and responsibilities
Project management of GUI (client side) system part. It was a bespoke system built for biggest stockbroker companies in Poland (it was meant to be used by corporate branches). Project management activities consisted of: task management, project planning, plan verification, resource allocation, risk analysis etc. It involved managing whole SDLC (life cycle) of the project
Key architect of the system, and designed whole client side architecture and took part in designing whole solution architecture. Using broad knowledge and experience gained while taking part in other projects for stockbroker companies
GUI design, agreeing the design with the client, on a weekly basis – client was very satisfied with used approach
Managing software delivery of built application
Team mentoring regarding Java and various J2EE technologies, like WebServices end EJB3.

Describing whole target solution and goal of the project
Project manager and architect of complete solution, starting with requirements specification till deployment, through whole SDLC.
I managed to built the system in a very tight time schedule, up to full requirements specification, with previously unused (by the team) new EJB3/Hibernate/JSF/WebServices technology. My main activities were divided between designing architecture (UML) and core project management tasks, like project planning, task management, resource allocation etc.
Full cooperation with internal clients during resource gathering phase.
