Catalogue Production - Managed production of catalogues from concept to print, including: presenting ideas at team meetings and developing the final artwork,
deciding on key tasks and deadlines for individual team members. Arranging progress meetings as required, working with other departments to ensure consistency and maintaining brand identity.

Art direction and shoot organisation - Comissioning photographers and
hiring models to provide artwork for specific projects. I directed the photographer and production team to ensure that the output was fit for purpose and coordinated various team members to ensure the work was completed on schedule and to standard.

Team working and project management - Managing a team of junior staff to take forward the tasks of the team as delegated. I was responsible for ensuring they
understood their role and supervising their progress.

Final artwork production - I am very competent in producing print-ready final artwork whether it involves PDF or Quark files. I have knowledge of crop marks, bleed etc. I am also used to setting up grids in QuarkXpress to correct dimensions with bleed, guides, folios and marketing messages, with settings for H&Js and runaround.

Concept design and competitor research - Extensive experience of working with clients to produce concept designs. I was also involved in evaluating competitors, work as a part of the generation of new concepts.

Copywriting/proof reading skills - I have a lot of experience of proof reading. I am very good at noticing mistakes in spelling and grammar. I was frequently asked to write small pieces for catalogues at Otto-UK.

Image retouching - I have extensive knowledge and experience of photo
retouching, manipulation and colour correction. With my extensive traditional
photographic experience, I have a full grasp of the subject.

Illustration - I have a lot of experience of using Adobe Illustrator for pictorial tasks as well as for producing and ammending logos. I was responsible for producing many illustrations for background images in Otto-UK catalogues.

• Developed design of furniture, kitchen units and bathroom suites based on sales briefs.
