CV (Curriculum Vitae) / Résumé

A rather lengthy cover letter awaits you below that covers a few bases. But, if I have to sum up my expertise it lies in the field of Travel PR having been the sole UK representative for Belvilla (villa rentals) since their launch last June. As PR Manager I handle all communications strategy as well as on and off-line relations for them, having garnered press in The Sunday Times, The Independent on Sunday, Daily Record, Lite, Scotsman, etc etc. I have been retained ever since.

I'd like to discuss possible freelance positions with you as I know I could help with both on and offline press for your clients.

I'm always looking for work, mainly in a freelance/temp capacity, thus I've attached my new 09' CV and the following covering letter in the hope you may be able to assist me in my search. There is quite a bit going on, so I suggest you give it a wee peek as I am not your standard candidate...

Do you need PR (physical/on-line) and event activation par excellence delivered to your clients on time and on budget across any sector from fashion to travel via technology, media and entertainment by someone who has worked with clients such as Nokia, Paramount, Billabong, Casio G-Shock and HMV to name but a few?

Fancy bringing someone onto the team with some of the most extensive digital media relations experience in the business and his very own and ever increasing database spanning music, film, mobile technologies and buzz outlets and incorporating blogs, forums and social networking sites. Sounds good? Wait till you see it in action.

Freelances at very reasonable rates (credit crunch, recession or not).

OK, so that was the quick pitch. Allow me to expand a wee bit.

I'm currently freelancing for experiential marketing agency 'Hot Cow' handling their travel PR account for Belvilla and event strategy for clients such as Paramount, having completed a digital media contract at Mission Media with regards to Nokia, 'Comes With Music' at the end of 2008.

Prior to this I was working at 'Radiator' on clients such as Billabong, Relentless (Wakestock, NASS and Unleashed music festivals) and Casio G-Shock in all fields of PR from media relations to strategy and reporting as well as digital engagement and events.

I launched me PR career at brand entertainment agency, 'Cake,' carrying out experiential marketing, photo calls and stunts, viral campaigns, trend analysis and digital relations on behalf of companies as diverse as Sky, Ubisoft, Motorola, Carling, Pot Noodle and HMV Get Closer (music and film social networking site)
Before entering PR full time, I was a project manager for an independent satellite broadcasting company whose clients included Audi and Classic FM and involved in the launch of a new unsigned music channel for them. I also ran a record label, Seed Records, which is still thriving.

An unorthodox candidate who can turn his hand to almost anything, I appreciate a broad canvass with which to paint and think a dedicated and well respected agency such as yourself is my obvious next port of call.
Therefore, I'd be much obliged if you could take a look at my CV with consideration to any current freelance / contract positions you may have, or may look to create for someone like myself ;) in order to help grow your business and engage your clients with quality, tenacity, creativity and flare.
