Role: Software Developer
Part of a small team mainly focused on creating and maintaining auction management software and auction house websites. But also Bespoke software solutions and websites.

Responsibilities
Software development using Visual Studio, VB.NET, VB6, ASP.NET, ASP, Microsoft Access, MySQL, SQLServer, HTML and Javascript
Taking an active role throughout the software lifecyle. Attending meetings with clients obtaining requirements, designing and coding new bespoke systems from scratch and updating existing systems. As well as Testing, deploying, maintaining and supporting various applications and websites.
Support dozens of clients mission critical software maintaining their databases and websites.

Projects
Edward Symmons CRM system (ASP) - Designed and developed an online system to replace several legacy MS Access systems for storing customer and case information and cleaning and importing all previous data, ensuring all information was properly validated.

Hi-Span Production scheduling (VB.NET) - Designed and developed software for a steel construction firm to store stock and customer information as well as schedule all production, in a way that was familiar with the users of their previous system.

Partners4Farmers (ASP) – Fully overhauled their old site implementing a new design, new bespoke features and improvements to ensure an efficient website.

Took on role of lead programmer during a time of restructuring
Supervised/trained new employees
Improved the efficiency, usability and security of our main auction websites. Solving an on going issue with SQL injection attacks.
