Responsibilities
Develop solutions for the mining, warehousing, and modelling of data to support the IT Service Management processes.

Analyses and initiates configurations or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding, tests/debugs programs and rolls out to business users.

Trains system users if appropriate.

Balances business requirements with technical feasibility and sets expectations on new projects. Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards.

Determines resources and timeline.

Develops conversion and system implementation plans. Implements new systems. Trains users in conversion and implementation of system.

Responsible for working with other technical team members to establish and maintain build and release standards.

Implements and follows standards and policies as defined by corporate and division senior management; escalates exceptions to direct manager.

Key Projects / Achievements
Successfully developed, tested and implemented various ETL scripts to import data from the source system to the reporting database. JSP together with Unix cron jobs were chosen to create and schedule the ETL.

Develop a monthly operational metrics for the IT team to track the number of incidents or defects using Eclipse.

Work very closely with my counterparts from USA to gather requirements, gap analysis and presentation of the end result. Travel occasionally to the USA office for discussion and user training.

Document all reporting requirements and development work and place them in the companySharepoint site.

Convert existing excel reports to BIRT (BIRT is a reporting software similar to Business Objects)

Maintain the Oracle Reporting database.

Responsibilities
Design data mapping and workflow with Informatica Power Center ETL tool.

Design and implement various data marts for report analysis. Utilize tables, views, stored procedures and user defined functions to extract data from Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases.

Coordinate with internal Finance and Business Unit teams to clarify and refine reporting requirements. Design and format various financial and management reports and make use of internal enterprise tools to create scheduling modules.

Define maintenance plan, operation manuals, functional specs and any other ISO documentation.

Conduct user trainings as well as handle application issues and user enquiries.

Handle day-to-day Data Warehouse operations and maintenance.

Software supported includes Informatica Power Center, Business Objects, Oracle, Toad, MS SQL 7, MS Excel, MS Access, Unix scripting.

Involve in vendor management and full UAT testing of the new ETL tool.

Responsibilities
Provide professional services to the customers in the following areas: Software development, system customizations, upgrades, system support and pre-sales.

Manage and implemented CRM and ERP system, which includes process analysis, user requirement analysis, design, configuration, testing, and support and maintenance for Sales and Logistics modules.

Design various reports using Crystal Reports for clients’ operational and management reporting purposes.

Support end users with their day to day system operations. Act as first point of contact with users for Phone / Email support and maintain a professional helpful attitude with all users and ensure timely escalation of problems by documenting actions take.

Sales Logix 6.1 to 6.2 upgrading:
Involved in a full setup of the new Sales Logix version, which includes of performing a full SQL database migration from Sales Logix 6.1 to 6.2 as well as setup of Sales Logix Client, user setup and database connection manager.

Sales Logix implementation:
Involved in a full cycle implementation, which includes business process analysis, requirements, design, implementation, testing, and support for Sales Logix 6.2, to cater for their sales and logistics operations.

Sales Logix Mail Merge templates:
Setup, designed and implemented Quotation and Sales Order templates using Sales Logix Mail Merge.

Sales reporting using Crystal Report 10:
Involved in designing Crystal reports for the Account, Sales, Costing and Ticketing modules of Sales Logix system.

Sales Logix 6.2 overseas user training:
Conducted CRM training for Agie Charmilles’ branches in Taipei, Yokohama, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Korea.

Sales Logix - iScala connectivity support:
Maintained the connectivity between Sales Logix and iScala using Admin Console setup and Document Tracking.

Sales Logix merging of Singapore and Malaysia companies:
Involved in the merging process of two Agie Charmilles’ companies, which includes of full SQL database merging of Account and Sales modules, remove duplicate data, and set up the database connection string.

iScala ERP customization:
Developed and added new functionality to ERP application after having derived the specifications from the users.
