Global Programme Manager - Capabilities. Duties involved being the Global Programme Manager for Capability Development within Accenture. Project scope is the capability and measurement of proficiencies for 30k global staff. Budget 1M $US.

Deliverables and responsibilities on the programme:
• Definition and tracking on KPI’s of Capability Measurement
• Raising of certification levels and people development
• Targets and tracking of industry partnerships
• Targets and tracking of community events
• Statistics and reporting on industry competences
• Statistics and reporting on technical competences
• Project Management of software development (ASP.Net) for global tool for competency measurement
• Management of offshore development team
• Management of acceptance testing and piloting of tool in global regions
• Roll-out and release plan for competency measurement tool globally
• Implementation of P-CMM within CMMI with global representatives
• Chairing of working committee and steering group for competency measurement

• Test manager for HSYF release
• Management of onshore and offshore teams
• Project plan and test planning for HDYF release
• Client liaison with stakeholders in LloydsTSB
• Statistics and reporting on test phase of project
• Assisting with analysis, design and development work with other members of Accenture team

Project Management of the LRS release of PACS in the North East SHA.

• Defining release in line with client expectations and global product release by supplier (AGFA)

Role Description
Programme Manager for infrastructure projects within the banks programme for Sanctions and Asset Management

Deliverables and responsibilities on the programme:
• Programme manager for various infrastructure deliveries
• Project manager for infrastructure part Sanctions project roll-out
• Project Manager for Active Directory implementation within Asset Management division
• Project Manager for roll-out of printers and multi purpose devices within retail banking
• Statistics and reporting on all projects using PRINCE2 methodology
• Project Management of remote infrastructure and operations teams
• Chairing and facilitation of project reviews such as design and architecture

eCommerce project manager responsible for managing the development, maintenance and support of the P&O Ferries group websites. May 2002 to Jan 2004 Projects– Maintenance of existing website (s) and new website(s) development. Technology included Oracle 9i AS, J2EE utilizing Struts & UML.

Deliverables and responsibilities:-
• Liaison between the business and in house development team
• Third party suppliers management, employed both on and offsite, as well as offshore (HP, Compelsolve, Oracle)
• Management of stakeholders in tourist and freight business areas

• Implementation of security policies and SLA’s.

Technical development manager for software division of Global beach comprising 2 Java developers, 2 C++ developers, 1 web developer and DBA. Role consisted of managing software development function and project management of M-Commerce project known as One2Infinity. Role also involved selling and demonstrating product to clients such as GlaxoSmithKline, Subaru, Mazda and Virgin.

Responsible for building and managing 2 development teams comprising 1 VB developer 8 Java developers, 2 C++ developers. Role involved developing development function, processes and quality procedures within Startle and negotiating with outside vendors and partners. Implementation of structured project process, QA and UML methodology. Also overseeing the full project lifecycle from conception, analysis, through development to implementation to ensure the business objectives of functional business units within Startle Worldwide were met. Major clients included media organizations such as BBC and Carlton. Managed 3rd party suppliers such as Informix and PA Consulting.
