Working in a business analyst role during the design of a new customer facing E-Commerce solution. The resulting solution provides a new online ordering engine and re-branded existing material with a focus on an improved customer journey and increased usability leading to increased online profits.

Key responsibilities within this project included educating key stakeholders as to the importance of a well defined customer journey, liaison with 3rd party suppliers, ensuring the solution met the requirements of key stakeholders and ensuring the production of detailed functional specifications and resulting sign-off by all business areas.

Working for a leading technology solutions company aimed at improving client’s business performance through the implementation of innovative web technologies.

Key Role – British Telecom Global Shipping Application (January 2005 – February 2006)

Working as a business analyst during the creation of a global shipping application designed to tackle the complex worldwide shipping environment whilst providing an efficient process for the user.

The application facilitated the purchasing of packaging and shipping between BT locations and internal/external recipients, adhering to complex business rules surrounding shipping rates, import/export tax and embargos.

Key responsibilities included the design and documentation of modules for selection of appropriate packaging based on size and weight, an interface allowing the user to easily review and select carrier quotes and a track and trace function based on the selected carrier.
