Responsible for delivering web sites, streamlining internal processes and managing initiatives designed to increase user engagement and page impressions on the MSN UK portal (http://uk.msn.com). Managed and worked with teams based in London, Dublin, Redmond, Budapest, Shanghai and Pune.

Projects included:
- Managed the pitch and build of a complex website with a 3D front end for a Ford Fiesta campaign worth over $500k. An important requirement from the client was that the Flash site was fully SEO friendly. - Delivered an application which ingested video feeds from the BBC and MTV for display on MSN Video. This was an important deal for the business, and senior management were very dependent on its success.
- Managed the build of an application which integrated with Live Messenger enabling users to share and discuss online video. This acted as a precursor to Messenger TV, http://messengertv.msn.com, a highly successful initiative.
- Managed the build of a re-usable quiz tool based on an award winning concept, encouraging user engagement and usage of Live Search This accounts for a great deal of page impressions on the portal. E.g. http://specials.uk.msn.com/MONEY/searchsupremoquiz.aspx

This role involved managing the delivery of live and on demand video to web and mobile platforms, the creation of high volume web sites, international new media marketing campaigns, as well as developing applications using new technologies at the time such as Microsoft Vista gadgets and ASP.Net 2.0.

Projects included:
- Managed a ground breaking initiative which involved worldwide live streaming and video on demand for the Wimbledon Championships. Gathered requirements and worked with internal teams and multiple third party vendors. http://www.wimbledon.org/live
- Managed the gathering of client and user requirements, design iteration, integration with e-commerce partners and bespoke technical implementation for the creation of the official website of Manchester City FC. - Managed a successful international mobile marketing campaign, working with third party design, marketing and technical partners in China, leading to tens of thousands registered users. Involved managing the set up of a WAP site, registration forms, a quiz type competition, SMS messaging and video.
