* Role was varied and included a technical audit/review of the existing Business Intelligence implementation and providing recommendations for improvement; establishing “best practices” and change control procedures for the development team; review and improvement of the delivery life cycle; project management (developing business case, project plan, resource planning); training-knowledge transfer-mentoring; Business Objects design and development (AF, Universe, ETL, Reports); performance tuning; BOXI R3 upgrade planning; liaison with and management of external/offshore third party developers; design workshops and data modeling.

* Development team Lead responsible for up to 8 consultants/developers across 3 projects
* All projects used the following technical environment: Windows Server 2003, Data Integrator XI, WebSphere, WebIntelligence 6.5.3, Oracle 9.
* Project to consolidate and replace a number of databases and reporting systems; new data warehouse environment; new reporting environment
* Establish processes and procedures for new reporting environment; plan and implement business adoption (marketing, training of users, change request procedures, establish support procedures)
