Work ranged from crisis management to development and delivery of seasonal campaigns, new product launches to trend and news comment and celebrity PR opportunities, plus managing the London press office (Freud Communications).

Morrisons plc
Working as part of the Consumer PR team, as Head of Food PR (four months interim cover). Morrisons required my support to identify and distribute news stories, from local sourcing successes across the UK, to fast news and seasonal tie-ins such as Olympic madness and credit crunch effects.

Mezzo Group

A communications strategy is being implemented which includes traditional and new media relations, news generation, internal and client communications and new business marketing.

Premex Group

With this rapid expansion and growth in the marketplace, media and stakeholder liaison plus internal communication is required to maintain quality coverage, brand awareness and to communicate key messages. We also produce copy for each company’s marketing literature, websites and various seminars and open days. The most recent project has been the Group’s focus on CSR and environmental projects, both regional and national, that the Group is participating in.

Northern Restaurant & Bar
A prestigious annual trade exhibition which takes place in Manchester Central. We build partnerships with key organisations and stakeholders and target the potential delegates through placing interviews (with celebrity chefs”), sourcing features, market research, news generation, and working with stakeholders and delegates in the lead up to the event plus hosting key media at the event.

Northern Hospitality Awards
The awards belonging to the Northern Restaurant & Bar. Timely PR concentrates on generating applications through coverage gained by encouraging discussion around the awards, previous winners, sponsors, cutting edge developments and human interest stories and up to date industry news.
