• On time preparation and filing of VAT returns.
• PAYE operation – monthly payments, annual returns, sick pay, holiday pay, redundancy pay etc.
• Preparation of year end accounts and assisting with the audit.
• Operating the accounts payable and receivable including credit control, reconciliations and daily book-keeping that eventually was kept to a minimum due to its automation by the integrated software.
• Keeping and managing the necessary file system to comply with the current laws and regulations.
• Regular business financial reports for the Directors, Bank and Shareholders.
• Business plan preparations when and as needed. In 2004 the plan secured a SFLG Loan from the bank that enabled the company expansion.
• Kept a sharp eye on the sales ledger and delicately handled all the credit control aspects of it – telephone, email, letter and fax contact considerably reduced the paying delays without affecting the future business.
• Integration of the web system sales processing and invoice generation (which was custom developed) with the accounting package. The web admin system was a in-house-made system and I have contributed with my expertise to its development and streamlining)
• When the company expanded and a book keeper was employed, I trained and supervised the new team member.
