Since starting my own business I have & continue to provide the following services to a number of clients :-

o General quantity surveying support for contractors , subcontractors & developers on various schemes including major commercial fit-outs, commercial refurbishment, new build commercial & residential. This work has mainly been focused on managing the financial recovery on a contract together with the formation & management of claims for additional works & programme delays.
o Quantity surveying support for local authorities working on Decent Homes & Responsive repairs contracts
• Working for Cambridge City Council with responsibilities for the cost management of both the decent homes contract & responsive repairs contract. Being solely responsible for quarterly audits which includes identifying abnormal costs & trends and reporting to senior management.
o Project management – carrying out the post contract ‘client role’ for Housing associations on both affordable development sites & section 106 developments.
• Employed by Circle Anglia Housing Association ( three regions) since 2004 providing support in delivering a number of schemes including a large regeneration project in Basildon.
o Property Management
o Business development
o Sourcing land for private sale residential development & project managing the purchase process by appraising the appropriate values & costs associated with the project.
o Ditto for affordable housing including negotiation with RSL’s.
o Identifying mixed use development opportunities & liaising with commercial developers & end users.
