Co-Director of The Well from the beginning, which involved all the roles needed for start-up for a small charity. These included honing and casting the vision, creating support for the charity, training the first prayer teams, setting up administration and structures to support the prayer teams, writing and designing newsletters, creating the website, running conferences, leading the Management Team, recruiting and working with trustees, developing policies and leading worship every week.

From November 2002 through to September 2007 the role was voluntary with funding coming through gifts and income generated from c-tim (see below)

While working at The Well:
• thrived in a fast-moving start-up environment
• developed skills in the area of physical and inner healing
• applied skills from industry in this charity setting
• established an excellent initial training course for the team that became used by the wider Christian community
• brought a professional approach to a Christian charity that gave it credibility in the public arena
• organized a special awareness raising event called Just One day
• grew a team of over 100 volunteers

Project Director

Warwick

Started as Project Manager creating media based training resources. Became head of Publishing and Training Team responsible for co-ordinating all the output from CPAS. Appointed as Project Director with a brief to re-shaping the way CPAS operated and delivered its services.

While working at CPAS:
• managed 4 large video based training projects through from concept to delivery. These covered subjects such as marriage, parenting, giving and a basic introduction to the Christian faith
• rationalized a whole range of publications consolidating them to a more practical and affordable structure
• organized a number of training tours throughout the UK often running these in parallel with publication launches
• planned a major re-shaping of the organization due to the need for CPAS to reduce its costs

Appointed as Training Manger with a threefold role to run the training team, deliver training to new Kall Kwik Franchise owners and to help work as part the senior management team in strategic planning.

While working at Kall Kwik:
• ran my own team for the first time
• learnt about the printing and design process to train Franchise Owners
• involved outside consultants in re-shaping Kall Kwik for future growth and development.
• introduced a quality programme across Kall Kwik in order for all the print centres to gain BS5750 accreditation – my own training team also gaining this. (now ISO 9002)

Keywest Insurance, London

Started as Internal auditor and then transferred to Training Team to put right all the mistakes the audit team were finding! Became Training Officer responsible for creating and delivering sales, customer care, supervisory and management training for 1,000 staff across the branch network.

While at Keywest:
• had my first job as a trainer
• toured many branches in the UK to correct problems with the administration and accounting
• helped create a distance learning package for all 1,000 staff that had a progression through it from a trainee to a branch manager
• run an internal recruitment agency for the branch network

Recently completed Occupational Health and Safety Qualification through Hinkley College awarded by NCFE
