European Field Applications Engineer (Electronic Access Solutions)

• Provide technical sales support on site (throughout EU) to increase pipeline and revenue of EU sales force for all SBUs (Sales calls, customer meetings to qualify applications, seminars, demonstrations, trade shows and training)
• Enable EU sales force to sell electromechanical product platform as well as modifications and new development projects to meet customer needs in terms of technical and economical specifications
• Build credibility for Southco EAS to all SBU’s customers in Europe
• Maintain European Business pipeline list, follow up with the internal and external project team as well as EU sales force
• Provide technical support to internal and external project team in terms of new concepts, potential solutions, calculations, training and recommendations. Work closely with internal project teams to ensure successful progress and completion of the project

Project and Design Engineer (Automotive)

• Manage, provide leadership and gain commitment of global project team, define clear action plan and dead-line through CCAR and ensure stage gate documentation is up to date
• Report to general and engineering management team on progress, critical issues and strategic actions. Proactively gain management commitment




• Work closely with customer project team to define timing plan milestone, ensure accuracy of the specification, sign off of approval documentation and proactively manage customer to protect company interest when applicable
• Pro actively support continuous improvement team on project management related process
• Ensure in time, safe launch of automotive programmes.

Project manager (mechatronics systems Gear motors, power actuator and custom positionning systems)

• Working closely with customer project team to ensure accurate specifications. (legal standards, technical requirements, environmental standards, prices and timelines)
• Preliminary research, calculations, project ROI and risk analysis
• Defining appropriate electro-mechanical solutions to meet customers specifications
• Planning and costing for the sales representative: development (internal and external), project management, tooling and testing cost, material. Prelim and formal quote for prototype, pre-series and series quantities
• Managing internal and external project team (R&D mechanical and electronic, supply chain, quality, manufacturing…) , Motor / Gear manufacturers, subcontractors and customers
• Industrial process definition and implantation to meet the quantity, quality and cost requirements
• Analysis of return on investment and lessons learned in order to anticipate delays and other risks
