I have been working as a professional editorial & commercial photographer & editorial writer based in Sydney, Australia. The coverage of sports such as rock climbing, snowboarding and skateboarding feature heavily in my assignments.

I have been working with web design for a period spanning 5 years.

I built and maintain my own website, a dynamic full flash site which utilises my skills in HTML, Actionscript 3.0, Javascript & SEO (Search Engine Optimisation). The purpose is to present my photography folio & promote my services as a photographer. The target market of the site is commercial creative directors, art directors, advertising agencies, and photo buyers.

I also program in Visual Basic behind applications including Microsoft Excel.

I created CRM (Customer Relationship Management) databases in MS Access relevant to my photography business, and also integrated POS (Point of Sale) systems in MS Access (including front end). I wrote sort queries behind MS Excel (where I have an Excel database and use Visual Basic subroutines to extract, arrange, edit and display information.

I handle all my own graphic design and art direction for stationery and websites.

I was brought in for the final week of a major development project for an international online gaming client. I was contracted to complete the development & design of Actionscript 3.0 UI applets, to debug and re-code timer functions (for controlling animation & sliding panel movements simultaneously with both timer & mouse actions), create and call external Javascript functions to dynamically resize the .SWF stage at runtime, re-build XML parsing functions and data passing functions (to collect data input from the CMS, and pass user selections/input data from within my Flash applets to external JQuery applets at runtime).

I solicited, received, and edited all photo submissions from contributors. I also prepared all photo files for publication (retouching, reformatting, print preparation). I edited the copy for many articles, and was a big part of the conceptualising phase for articles and issue planning.
