Became self-Employed, operating as Limited Company, specialising in pre- and post-contract surveying duties including advice, final accounts, claim preparation and defence, and adjudication and arbitration work. Working for a variety of Clients including Employers (London Borough of Brent), Developers, Main Contractors, Subcontractors and Professional QS practices. Some insurance-based building claim works also undertaken. Have also acted as a Single Joint Expert in building disputes. Variety of experience over the years has resulted in scale of projects ranging from a £5,000 landscaping project through to a complex £100m+ Hospital project in central London.

• Claims & Disputes QS: Claims & Disputes QS needed for resolving contract issues with a number of contracts in Greater London area. Probably around two weeks work initially, with more to follow. Please apply to Alexis Taylor - at@people4.com - for more information.
• Quantity Surveryor: We require a Quantity Surveyor with 7 years estimating and buying experience. 1 day per week to start with possibility of this rising to 2 or more days quite quickly and maybe permanent.
• PQS - Quantity Surveyor - Immediate Start: I am looking for a PQS for a new build residential project with a contract value of approx £3.5m. The scope of works for pre-contract will be to write up the preliminaries, package up the tender documents, log tender enquiries, analyse tender returns ,produce a tender returns and produce a tender report, attend tender meetings and write up contracts.
• Quantity Surveyor - SMM7 Standards: SMM7 BOQ for a large development. Estimated at 2 weeks work for take off.
