CV (Curriculum Vitae) / Résumé

My career started in 1991 when I started to work for a little studio doing comix for Disney Italy and I have been freelancing for Disney ever since.
In 1993 I attended the Accademia Disney in Milan, a 1 year apprenticeship type course course focusing on illustration and comix creation.
In 1996 I started doing freelance work for the then Paris based Disney Consumer Products Europe, Africa and Middle East working doing line arts and digitalization of artworks.
The office closed in 1999 and much of it was relocated to London. I was already living in London at the time as I had moved here in September 1997 because of a one year job working on the Disney- Pearson encyclopaedia for kids and that job required close contact with the editorial team.
In the year 2000 I worked as storyboard and background artist on the Channel4 short "Bye Bye".
Since the relocation of the Disney Consumer Products to London I've been doing a variety of work related to character art, on styleguides as well as on individual products for specific licensors, including the visualization of 3d objects for production, something that I now do using 3d software. Besides freelancing for Disney I also work for studios that produce work on Disney license.
