For the past 16 years I have worked as a Senior Copywriter, Head of Copy and Creative Director on international brands for award-winning advertising agencies and revered marketing departments.

I started out in ATL, then moved to Integrated and finally Digital. Now I am gaining invaluable experience in retail fashion.

What follows are a few career highlights...

I have just researched and written the Tone of Voice Guidelines for all copywriting on the Harrods eCommerce website.

As Head of Copy, I was one of the creative leaders of the eCommerce launch of the TK Maxx website.
There I established the overall copy tone and style in addition to working on all Integrated campaigns from radio to in-store to online.

In my capacity as Creative Director at Ripe - an award winning digital agency, we were appointed the digital agency for all adidas creative for the 2010 World Cup based on our awards for digital craft, design and copy.

At BBDO Cape Town I was Creative Director of a highly successful Integrated department and member of the Board.

While at Bates 141 we established a global best practice for our Integrated, Digital and award-winning design campaign for Lucky Strike.

During my stay at The Jupiter Drawing Room Cape Town we become a much awarded agency starting off by winning a Loerie Grand Prix for our retail creative work.

ROLE:
Researched and wrote the Tone of Voice Guidelines for harrods.com.
Worked with the Content Team to implement new tab system to optimize the use of HTML and CMS
Edited existing copy of key merchandise to optimize sell through during The One And Only Harrods Sale
Research and copywriting of the Size Guides and Buyer’s Guides for Fashion, Home wares, Appliances and Sports Equipment to improve usability

RESULT:
Authoring the Tone of Voice guidelines as a resource for the Content Team, Marketing Team and CRM Team to use in the overhaul of the harrods.com site

ROLE:
Copywriting and concepts for ATL, Integrated, CRM and Digital campaigns
Established a clear Tone of Voice
Set up the creative process and copy guidelines for the new eCommerce site
Worked with the marketing team and external CMS, HTML and Flash providers to on the website build
Put freelance resource in place to handle the influx of merchandize
Produced the style and tone for all emailers for the CRM team
Involved in all troubleshooting, testing and approvals before going live
Played an active part in the Integrated and Digital team reporting to the CD, reviewing all copy and mentoring other team members

RESULT:
Ensured that the eCommerce site was up and running from a content and creative point of view and put a creative team in place to support it.
