Thames Water. Terra Eco-Systems. Technical Assistant. Various ad hoc duties within the department to ensure there are no difficulties for the distribution of the company product in terms of non-compliance or error.

Thames Water. GETMaps Data Technician. Converting tiff files to attach with map coordinates in the departmental change from Microfilm/fische to online imaging. Working on inputting data to the Oracle dbase with coordinate entry/map image checks.

I opted to move across to IT to gain valuable experience that would be complimentary to my grounding in Accounting.
Aided the final stages of implementation of a web based forum and conference application to include: user management/HTML design /page creation/mail management/announcements/page editing/ distribution/support/transcripts/user privileges and documentation. To include project specification coordination and support.
Administrative support for the RPG programmer on the AS400 machine on a daily basis for software licence/code management, job reports, estimation of time and expected output, product code, analysis listings and online reporting.
Maintained and collated correspondence for departmental mobile phones: user support, tariff level changes, handset management, review of the existing account structure and implementation of tighter controls. To include user support and administration duties relating to this.
Aided the practical and administrative aspects of machine support contracts, organisation of repairs and contractor interaction/organisation. Supporting administration undertaken where required.
Supported and arranged for staff entertainment and activities to aid team building and morale.

Accounts Assistant

PI Holdings (UK) Ltd, Henley On Thames

Aided the Group Financial Accountant to set up and maintain monthly management reporting on a Sun Systems accounting package which allowed me to suggest and implement changes following the installation in my previous position, including extending some additional training to the staff already at PI.
Managed benefits and services for the Sales and Constancy Staff for all groups including the holding company.
Produced monthly management accounts for board meetings where subsequent group decisions were partially based on these performances with accounting reports.
Provided administration support for the incorporated group company (Uniface) to include fuel card management and issue, lease car renewals and contract arrangements . This included any additional support the company sales representatives required to market their product.
