CV (Curriculum Vitae) / Résumé
Regarding my professional experience I have to say that after working for a short period in BCA World Club (telemarketing company), I was hired for NationWide Building Society (Mar/01-Sep/01), first society of values and investment funds in the United Kingdom, within the ISA department (Individual Saving Accounts), having to my charged five persons, responsible for the maintenance and management of all the previous processes for accounts opening. After that and moving to London I also worked at Wembley Hotel at the front-desk/reception department for a period of six month then I moved to Market Research LTD (Oct/01-Sep/02), developing market research studies for all sort of multinational companies such as Microsoft, Luthent Technologies, Cepsa, etc.
Months later after returning back to Spain I took a practical course in microcomputers & networking at San Juan Bosco College (400 h). I worked for Wanadoo and later on for Orange, within the Technical Department, as a network technician at FRONT DESK & BACK OFFICE Department.
Nowadays I work at Moron Airbase as a Guest Service Representative, as well as a Virtual Assistant for Adam Wang´s Law Office, where I am doing not just administrative and help-desk tasks, but I am in charge of several duties that have to be carried out on every day basis, such as file cases, dealing with other attorneys and judges, translations of all kind of documents and interpretations over the phone, since the majority of customers are from Latin American with little knowledge of English language.
Although I am very satisfied with my current job, really I am having some free time to do extra things that I also like to do such as; web writing content, translating not just web pages, but all sort of legal, technical, financial and personal documents as well as interpreting. Activity that makes me feel more confident to develop fully my potential knowledge and aptitudes, which during all these years I have been acquiring and maturing as a person. Right now I am working in several ongoing projects as a registered freelance, since my personal circumstances oblige me to stay at home most of the time; I am very open to tackle any kind of work that can be done from home.
I have worked previously as freelance translator and I can guarantee that I am a very serious, reliable and organized person regarding my work and commitments and able to demonstrate the necessity of human translations, and the importance of Applied Language’s expertise, quality and ethics.
