CV (Curriculum Vitae) / Résumé

I am both a chartered building surveyor and a qualified project manager. In 2006 I formed a company to provide development project management services to my own residential development company and project consultancy services.

I have over 20 years experience in property development and construction and has developed a number of specialisms that include
• Due Diligence
• Employer’s Agent
• Housing and Mixed-Use
• Project Management
• Project Monitoring
• Urban Regeneration

I joined Watts and Partners in April 2001 as a salaried partner in the London based capital projects group. I have a proven track record in project delivery in the commercial and residential sectors and have a particularly strong accord with private and affordable housing.

I now act as an Associate Director of Watts’ subsidiary company, providing expertise and experience in development project management to the affordable and private sectors, providing a unique vehicle for delivering strategic advice to the private sector, government agencies, registered social landlords, and funds and investors.

My experience has lead to a clear understanding of the operation of funding and development agreements within the construction and development process, regularly acting for funds and investors; and developers and purchasers; as well as government agencies and registered social landlords.

I have a strong working knowledge of urban design originating in estate regeneration and expanding through urban renewal and regeneration projects. I am well versed in the commercial realities of balancing social, economic and environmental factors in complex multi-faceted projects. This is complemented by sound technical training, and an appreciation of life cycle analysis.

In 2006 I formedmy company to develop a newbuild scheme of 15 apartments for open market sale at Coopers Court, close to the new Ebbsfleet International Rail Station.

Prior to Watts, I was Project Director with HTA Architects responsible for design and programme management on housing projects including estate regeneration at Pollards Hill, an LSVT involving early partnering and a substantial community programme.

I started my career as a graduate with Building Performance Group, here I gained my Chartered status. At 27 I have worked my way up to Associate Director managing substantial defect and major repair programmes and large scale surveys.
