For the past five years, I have been writing, designing and project managing (including picture research and selection) factual titles for a number of clients (in the UK and US) on a diverse array of subjects from pop music, climate change, space, World Wars, sports (including official England Football Association publications) to motoring titles, space and books on various countries/cities around the world. Design and page layout of magazines (both editorial and advertorial), some photo retouching, illustration and PDF amendments, assisting with the smooth running of the computer system and training staff.

Commissioning, list management, copywriting, design, editing, project management, compiling statistics, data entry, page layout. Writing/editing sleevenotes for CDs. Assistant editor of Matchday (official Endsleigh Football League magazine) and The Championship Game (Premiership). Negotiating fees and deadlines with clients, printers and contributors and regulating company cashflow. Liaising with director on staffing issues and managing a complex team of employees, contributors and freelancers.
