I am from a Main Contractor background with both Building and Civil Engineering experience in Traditional & Design & Build projects. I also possess the experience as a no.1 on sites valued to £5m and as no.2 on sites valued to £14m with ability and confidence to run larger scale projects. The duties I have fulfilled in previous posts include: Procurement, logistics, programming, resourcing, commercial awareness, sub-contractor, organising the works to maximum efficiency, producing and implementing QA sign-off sheets for all stages of works, MS / RA's, RFI, CVI, labour/plant allocations, ensuring work is produced and handed over as per drawings, specifications & programme, maintaining high levels of health and safety, monitoring and reviewing progress at all times to meet the required targets from inception (award) to completion. Attend/chair meetings as required, weekly / monthly reporting to seniors. Ensuring good customer care at all levels & times. Excellent IT skills - all MS Office packages including Project. I also hold: 4 day 1st Aid, CSCS (Site Manager) and 5 day CITB/SMSTS.

Throughout my work experiences I have developed a trend for working in physically / mentally challenging & diverse environments.

My focused work ethic and dedication are complemented by my wide-ranging employment history, especially within Government Framework & Partnering Contracts including New and Refurbishment Projects from Education, Hospitals, Social Housing (incl. Decent Home Scheme), High Specification Apartment Blocks to MOD (Gibraltar).

Additionally my education in Foundation to BEng. Civil Engineering and Construction Project Management (BSc Hons Degree 2:1) has endowed me with the skills and knowledge necessary for success in any position I assume.

In these positions I have not only implemented structured systems and developed my communication abilities working with a wide range of Clients, Designers, Sub-contractors and Suppliers but most importantly, the construction industry has taught me the value of efficiency planning, and using the right tools for the right job. Furthermore, I have gained an understanding of how to maximize my employer's resources and keep a positive work atmosphere with my fellow employees.

Currently living in the Greater Manchester area (Temporary), with a genuine long term interest in relocation to suit career needs.
