• Media spokesperson for Action on Hearing on Hearing Loss. Television appearances on BBC See Hear (December 2012), ITV1 News (October 2012), Channel 5 Live News (October 2012), Imperial Radio (February 2013) as well as written articles on hearing loss and research
• Advisor and campaigner for HSBC bank, South West Trains and Transport for London on Equality and Disability issues; created training materials including a DVD for staff training awareness
• Setup baseline study to influence government policy around transitions for 18 – 30 year olds at Action on Hearing Loss; with the aim to try and ensure they are given the support and services that are required
• Successfully raised the profile of Assembly Member Mark Isherwood during 2008-2009 local election while working as a Press Officer, by proactively promoting his position as a Minister in the local constituency which successfully saved his seat

• Responsible for creating and delivering a wide range of marketing activities, such as promotional material for in memory donors, organizing successful legacy events, creating legacy guides to recruit warm and cold donors
• Created a new newsletter for stakeholders with the aim to encourage more fundraising activity aimed at increasing fundraising activity – I successfully managed to increase the number of inactive donations by 25%
• Supported in the planning and delivery of direct marketing mailing packs to warm and cold acquisitions. Recent September 2012 mailing went to over 2,000 legacy pledgers to find out their legacy status. Successful data selection has meant we have had a successful mailing so far over 900 are still intending to leave a gift in their will
• Brainstorming with external creative agencies to create successful mailing packs and copywriting marketing materials to be sent to supporters during their legacy journey.
• Responsible for creating new website contents and planning online marketing campaigns to drive traffic to the in memory pages and encourage more donations
• Elected staff council member. I act as the staff voice during consultations; meet up with senior managers to discuss organizational plans, discuss and give feedback on new and existing policies and to act as a Staff Companion to support employees during formal processes

• Developed a broad range of social media strategies including Facebook adverts/pages, twitter feeds and a MySpace page which successfully allowed me to gain more followers and increase the number of visitors to the site. Success was measured by the number of customers signed up to exchange their tickets online
