Currently assigned to the EPCM HSSE department, my duties consist of:
• The inspection load testing and approval of 345 site cranes, all lifting equipment, 4,000 pieces of heavy equipments and plant.
• Review and approval of all lifting plans and rigging studies.
• Oversee all heavy haulage movements.
• Daily spot checks at worksite covering the safety aspects as well as spotting any potential near-misses.
• Investigating of site incidents related to lifting and heavy equipment.
• Competency assessment and training of crane operators, plant operators and riggers. Commissioning support for all equipment and rigging requirements in preparation for introduction of gas and hydrocarbons.

Employed on a Major Jetty refurbishment with Besix-Kier JV. Major LNG Project.
Duties consisted of:
• The supervision of the dismantling and refurbishment of the former Esso Jetty at Milford Haven.
• Supervision of 1 sheer leg 3,500 ton heavy lifting barge, 6 floating barges, 4 Jack up rigs with cranes from 25t-750t ringer, 54 Land based cranes and all associated personnel.
• Heavy lifts up to 1600t.
• Review and approval of all Lifting studies, Method statements, Risk Assessments.
• Competency assessments of crane operators and riggers.
• Daily inspections of all lifting equipment ensured that all work was carried out under Permit to work
• Worked closely with HSSE to ensure compliance with Civil & Marine Safety Standard’s, (SOLAS) Safety of Life At Sea and (LOLER) Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment regulations.
