Many years of successful teaching experience, including two years teaching mathematics to A level in Jamaica. Performed the role of mathematics teaching in charge of computing at a Bradford comprehensive school for eight years. Passed City & Guilds Visual Basic. Initiated the Java object oriented programming course at Calderdale College. Now directing my own enterprise Iwbtrain, which enables interactive whiteboard users to become more proficient. Proficient in HTML programming.
Was seconded to Bradford University for a year, which culminated in being awarded a postgraduate diploma in computing. The course included a rigorous training in Pascal programming and taught courses in software engineering, database management systems and data communications. At Manchester Metropolitan University, I assisted with the Professional Development course with mathematics support and Microsoft Office. Taught computer science and mathematics to A level for two years at Huddersfield New College. Numerous years of supply teaching experience in often challenging inner city schools in Oldham, Wakefield and Bradford.
