CV (Curriculum Vitae) / Résumé
At University I could often be found in the studio workshop, exploring and experimenting with materials to assist in the design process. Often based on an array of conceptual, development and context models, I have exceptional patience and a brilliant eye for detail. With this focus on materials, I have a strong interest in conservation and vernacular styles. I believe in a holistic approach to design; the physical, spiritual and emotional well-being of the building user is paramount. Ideally, the building user should be linked to context and heritage through a design that embodies an innovative use of materials, nature, and sustainable ideals.
I am a highly motivated and focused individual in all areas of life. My interest in innovative design to enhance society is shared with passion of personal wellbeing, health and fitness. I am an asset to any institution; a co-operative team player with the ability to work autonomously.
I have experience working in various Architecture practices. Most recently, a summer internship at Haxton Associates in Sheffield exposed me to commercial design, whereby I was involved in site visits, client meetings and the design process.
