CV (Curriculum Vitae) / Résumé
I am currently taking part in an Internship at Leach Pottery, St Ives in order to gain studio pottery experience and broaden my skills in ceramic product development. In the past few months I have been fortunate enough to work with a charity in Thailand teaching craft students about the design and product development process.
Until December 2012 I was employed as the Tabletop & Cookshop Designer in the Sainsbury’s homeware department in Coventry. My particualr specialism is in ceramic design however working at Sainsbury’s has allowed me to signicifcantly broaden my skills and knowledge of the homeware industry. As well as leading the Tabletop and Cookshop category which is highlighted as the ‘hero category’ in Sainsbury’s non-food division, I have been heavily involved in developing the ‘Living’ category which covers home accessories, soft furnishings and lighting. I played a key role in delivering coordinating collections whilst building strong, core offers of well designed, essential items.
