CV (Curriculum Vitae) / Résumé

PROFESIONAL EXPERIENCE

Business Development and Impact : Sept. 2011 to present, remotely

XXX is a Swiss start-up company with the mission to evaluate and guide project investments with a potential to create economic, ecological and ethical value. The company is active across the sectors of forestry, renewable energies, food, ecosystem services and water.
As part of the founding team, I am mostly dealing with environmental and social project aspects, with forestry being my speciality. Being aware of innovation and key players across scientific disciplines and the sustainability sector allows me to integrate state of the art approaches into sourced projects. Recognizing future trends and identifying opportunities for sustainable development is at the heart of our business. I am also involved in the early stages of project management. Lately, my core task has been the preparation of project documentation for investors and the critical screening of project information to identify gaps and incongruencies, and to suggest improvements.
I have also led the process of developing our corporate identity in the field of sustainable investments, with a focus on company positioning and the provision of consistent scientific information in all sectors we touch. Furthermore, I have been in charge of developing the start-up’s project screening, evaluation and monitoring tools (mainly questionnaires, also using standardized indicators such as IRIS). Due to my background in communication, I have closely worked with designers and illustrators to visualize our concepts for communication purposes.
