CV (Curriculum Vitae) / Résumé

I am an independent graphic designer, based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire.
I provide a highly regarded design service at prices that can’t be beaten, as I don’t have the large overheads that other design agencies have.
I have worked as a designer for a number of years (too many to make public, don’t want to give my age away)… As a testimony to this, I have a number of very satisfied clients. Check out the Testimonials page. I have worked in many aspects of the design industry, such as advertising, editorial (magazines) & publishing, which included illustration, music album cover design, event design and heaps more…
I feel, that as an independent designer, free of managerial restrictions, I can offer that all important one-to-one working relationship, every client rightly deserves. My design philosophy is based on the design process. Every project starts with this critical question: Who is the message for? Knowing the audience is critical to developing effective communication. The second step is understanding how the intended audience best listens. Are they more receptive to warm and fuzzy images (little babies and puppies), or is a straightforward approach going to get the message across more effectively?
Finally, the message must be crafted and presented in a way that resonates. The crafting of the presentation is traditionally where the graphic designer steps in. Graphic designers combine text and image to create communication that is memorable, effective and resonates with the intended audience.
Please contact me with any of your print and digital, promotional and marketing design queries… No job is too big or too small.
