Avionics Technician, electrical maintenance.
1. Carried out preventive and corrective maintenance, Diagnostic fault finding, Inspection, and modification to Vehicles, Plants, and Miscellaneous Electrical Equipment.
2. Ordering and receiving of Spares, Oils, and Greases. Safe handling and storage/transportation also carried out. Supervision of personnel in stocking, inventory control.
3. Carried out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, tests, repairs, and modification of Avionic systems on both fixed and rotary wing aircraft and their associated equipments.
(Avionics includes: Electrical/Electronic components, Instruments, Communications, Flight control, Navigation, Radar, Optronic, and Thermal imaging.)
4. Diagnosed and rectified all faults found within the Avionic systems.
5. Working knowledge of a wide range of test equipment usage and maintenance of.
6. Carried out repairs to structural components on Aircraft and reapplication of correct surface finishes IAW recognised repair procedures.
7. Management and supervision of less qualified Technicians.
